From July 17 to July 19, 2026, the final round of the 11th National Biomedical Engineering Innovation Design Competition, organized by the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering and hosted by Hainan University, was successfully concluded.

PhD students visited France, Portugal, and Spain, and presented at an international conferenceFrom June 26 to July 5, 2026, a delegation of doctoral students from the Faculty of Life Science and Medicine, led by Associate Dean Prof.

From August 30 to September 7, 2025, a delegation of professors and ten PhD students from School of Medicine and Health visited three top European institutions: the University of Turin (Italy), LMU Munich (Germany), and Université Paris Cité (France).

In July 2024, students achieved remarkable success at the 9th National College Student Biomedical Engineering Innovation Design Competition held in Hainan. Among nine HIT teams, eight were from our faculty, winning one Second Prize and three Third Prizes.

In January 2024, The School of Medicine and Health, Harbin Institute of Technology, has formed an inter-campus collaborative student team, traveled to Shenzhen for an interdisciplinary social practice program.

To help students better understand the development trends of the biomedicine and medical device industries, the School of Life Science and Medicine of Harbin Institute of Technology organized a winter career practice program in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
