Recently, the 2nd International Conference on Biomedical Engineering was held at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT).
The conference was organized by the School of Medicine and Health at HIT and brought together experts and scholars, young researchers, and doctoral students from universities and research institutions in the United States, Singapore, Italy, the United Kingdom, and other countries and regions. The conference topics covered biomaterials, nanomedicine, tumor immunotherapy, RNA therapeutics, super-resolution imaging, neurodegenerative diseases, bioengineered microenvironments, living materials, cardiovascular nanotherapy, and other areas, fully demonstrating the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary development trend in biomedical engineering. During the conference, participating experts shared their latest research findings in basic research, technological innovation, and clinical translation, and exchanged views on the deep integration of materials science, engineering technology, and medical needs. The successful hosting of the conference further strengthened academic exchanges and connections between the School of Medicine and Health at HIT and domestic and international universities and research institutions. In the future, the School will continue to draw on HIT’s disciplinary strengths, address major needs in the field of life and health, and steadily advance the deep interdisciplinary integration of medicine and engineering, so as to build a more open international exchange platform for scientific and technological innovation and high-level talent cultivation in biomedical engineering.
Five doctoral students from the faculty, Wang Jianlong, Xu Meng, Meng Lingna, He Shuo, and Tian Yu delivered oral presentations at the conference.
