"Integration of Medicine and Engineering, Interdisciplinary Innovation" Academic Micro-Salon (16th Session)

Release Date:2026-06-17 Views: 10

Keynote Speakers: Team from the Institute of Aerodynamics and Fluid Mechanics at the Technical University of Munich

Presentation Titles: SPHinXsys-Based Digital Medical Simulation Platform, Next-Generation 3D ECG & Cardiac Digital Twin Platform Based on Multiphysics Simulation

Presentation Overview: Focusing on virtual medicine and virtual surgical planning, this session will use physics-based simulation to model three-dimensional electrical signals of the heart. The goal is to replace current two-dimensional ECG diagnostics and even provide physicians with preoperative planning and guidance for ablation procedures. The platform also provides simulations of PCI procedures, including stent implantation, bypass suturing, and subsequent heart valve replacement.

Time: 2:00 PM on March 20th

Location: Conference Room K1628, Science and Technology Innovation Building

All faculty and students are welcome to attend.
